Day 2 hike to a glacier lake.









Lake Miage. Don't worry... we didn't get close to the water's edge.
Scenes along the trail. It was threatening rain all day, but we managed to stay dry. As soon as we arrived to the bus, it poured, lightning and thunder and hail.




Our goal: Refugio Elizabeta. Hikers stay here over night. We hiked there and had lunch.

Hot vegetable soup, cheese, bread.

The reward after a strenuous hike: Cafe gelato!
